| Volunteers help in many ways. |
The Advocacy Center is grateful for the many volunteers who have helped us achieve our mission for over 50 years, by donating their time and talents. Thank you.
Here are some of the ways that volunteers help and are continuously needed:
- Board Membership - Be a part of leading The Advocacy Center. Help create the strategies and find the resources needed to ensure The Advocacy Center is able to fulfill its mission to people who have disabilities, well into the future.
Opportunities include serving as an elected member of the Board of Directors or as a Community Member participant on a subcommittee of the Board. - Parent Volunteer Lay Advocacy - Assist other parents of children receiving special education in your community with training and support from The Advocacy Center staff.
- Office Clerical and Data-Entry Assistance - From time to time we need assistance with data-entry and other clerical tasks.
If you are interested and have any of these types of talents and the time to share in support of The Advocacy Center's mission, please contact us.
