The Advocacy Center, in collaboration with Down Syndrome Advocacy Foundation, will present Partners in Policymaking on Long Island beginning June 14, 2008.

The Long Island edition of Partners will be accomplished through a combination of live presentations, web-based self study, and other possible distance learning modalities.  This initiative is an effort to meet the needs of individuals and family members from the Long Island and New York City regions who are unable to travel to Albany for the traditional eight session series.

Participants will be selected through an application process.  Deadline for applications is May 16, 2008.  The application is available as a PDF with this news item.
