The Advocacy Center hosted a regional forum on advocacy, the fifth in a series sponsored by the newly formed New York State Disability Advocacy Association and Network. Twenty-five advocates from the Finger Lakes region attended the forum, held at St. Anne Church on October 11, 2007

Advocates responded to key questions, such as 'What are the outcomes of effective advocacy?" Kathryn Cappella, Executive Director of New York State Disability Advocacy Association and Network, facilitated the discussion. She will be sharing the advocates' answers with a statewide task force on advocacy, which is drafting a document on advocacy standards and principles.
