Sixteen Parents Attend Skill Building Conference in Olean



The Advocacy Center hosted a two-day skill building retreat on May 2-3, 2008 in Olean, NY.  This is the fourth such event to be held for families of children with developmental disabilities from Cattaraugus and Allegany Counties.  Sixteen parents participated in workshops entitled Gratitude and Optimism;  Developing Your Child's Portfolio; Evaluations, Educational Tests and Measurements; and Guardianship, Trusts, and Wills.
