Seven people recently completed a two-day workshop entitled "Presenters for a New Attitude" which prepares them to join The Advocacy Center Speakers Bureau. Members of the Speakers Bureau give disability awareness presentations to audiences throughout Monroe County. Studies show that when college students and members of the community hear personal stories, they become better teachers, social workers, health professionals and citizens.

If you are interested in a disability awareness presentation for your organization, please contact Colleen Brown at ext. 267.
