The Advocacy Center has always been in the business of educating and supporting others, specifically those with disabilities and their families.  In 2009, we formally expanded our role to educate professionals who work with individuals with disabilities by creating The Center for Community Education.

Offerings for professionals in 2011 include:
Understanding Autism, a three part series beginning May 4, 2011
Emergency Response for Individuals with Disabilities – May 21, 2011
Pro-Social Behaviors and Sexuality – June 2, 2011

Check our website calendar for other scheduled workshops or take a look at our updated catalog for the newest offerings.

For more information about professional development workshops, please contact Colleen Brown at (585) 546-1700 ext. 267 or email brown@advocacycenter.com.
