On Saturday, November 8, 2008, thirty-three individuals completed the New York State Partners in Policymaking program.  This group gathered in Albany eight times from May through November to participate in an innovative model of leadership development for people with developmental disabilities, parents, and family members.

Concurrently, a group of seventeen individuals participated in a regional Partners program held at Long Island University, C.W. Post Campus.  The graduates join an international network of over 17,500 individuals.
