OPWDD Announces Survey about People First Waiver

OPWDD recently posted an online survey to solicit further public input to the design of the People First Waiver. You can access the survey at http://www.opwdd.ny.gov/2011_waiver/index.jsp.  The survey will be online for the next three weeks after which the collected responses will be compiled and used to inform the design process.

In addition, OPWDD posted a message from Commissioner Courtney Burke explaining the purpose of the People First Waiver and the reforms it will achieve for New York’s developmental disabilities service system.
