OMRDD to hold Public Forums



Commissioner Diana Jones Ritter announces a series of Public Forums on the development of OMRDD's new Five Year Comprehensive Plan for Services for the Period 2008 through 2012. Self-advocates, parents of people with developmental disabilities, other family members, nonprofit providers, professionals, advocates, and other interested parties are invited to provide ideas, suggestions and comments about services in New York State.

The Advocacy Center is a New York State Parent Training and Information Center (PTIC), serving all of New York except the 5 boroughs of New York City. The PTIC is funded through a grant from the Office of Special Education Programs, U.S. Department of Education.
