NYS Self Advocacy Association Produces Video Decrying the "R-word"June 1, 2010The New York City Office of the New York State Self-Advocacy Association has completed a Public Service Announcement to abolish the use of the “R-word.” Read more about their efforts and watch the PSA video.  The Advocacy Center is a New York State Parent Training and Information Center (PTIC), serving all of New York except the 5 boroughs of New York City. The PTIC is funded through a grant from the Office of Special Education Programs, U.S. Department of Education.
