Melody Johnson hired as Director of Advocacy and Leadership Development

The Advocacy Center is pleased to introduce Melody Johnson as the new Director of Advocacy and Leadership Development.  Ms. Johnson brings twelve years of professional experience in the field of human services, but feels as though she has been “in the field” since she was nine years old, when her parents began to provide family care services for individuals with disabilities in the early 1980s.  Melody has a BS from SUNY Geneseo, a Master of Science in Management from Roberts Wesleyan, and a certificate in non-profit leadership.  She has experience at several non-profit agencies in Ontario County and most recently she has been working as an adjunct professor for Finger Lakes Community College.

Melody lives in Farmington with her husband and two children.  We are pleased to welcome her to our team!
