Lay Advocacy Training to be offered in Rochester and Mt. Morris

The Advocacy Center will offer lay advocacy training in two locations in the fall of 2008.  This eight-session workshop series for parents of children with developmental disabilities builds the capacity of the participants to better advocate for their own children and prepares them to advocate on behalf of others.  The series will be offered on Tuesdays in Rochester beginning on 9/23/08.  It will be offered in Mt. Morris on Thursdays beginning on 9/25/08.   Participant are selected through an application process.  For more information, visit our calendar page or contact Kerri Noyes at ext. 256.
