Kathy Giordano and Kathy McCarthy-Proulx Deliver Keynote Address at Statewide Conference




Kathy Giordano and Kathy McCarthy-Proulx of The Advocacy Center presented the keynote address at a  statewide conference sponsored by New York State Coalition for Children’s Mental Health Services and New York State Office of Mental Health on November 30, 2010. The conference, entitled “Embracing the Children’s Plan: Emotional Support, Well-Being and Physical Health of our Children, Youth and Families,” was held in Saratoga Springs, New York for individuals who work in the field of children’s mental health. 

Their address, titled “Baggage,” demonstrates how personal history can affect working relationships and offers strategies for improving communication and building partnerships. For more information on Baggage and other workshops, click here.
