Half-day Conference a Big Success

Fifty conference participants were inspired, entertained, and engaged in learning as they heard from Kathy and Matt Giordano at a half-day conference entitled "The Path to Success:  Meeting the Needs of Individuals with Neurological and Behavioral Disorders."  Kathy explored the nature of difficult behaviors, and stressed the importance of looking at behavior as a form of communication.  She suggested strategies for positive behavioral interventions that can be used in a variety of settings.

Matt talked about his experiences growing up with a disability and then closed the event with a lively, interactive drum circle.
