Golisano Foundation and Eastman Institute Partner to Help People with Developmental Disabilities

The Advocacy Center received news about a new project which may be of interest to people with developmental disabilities and their families. The B. Thomas Golisano Foundation and Eastman Institute for Oral Health at the University of Rochester Medical Center announced a partnership to address the unmet oral health needs of people with developmental disabilities in the Rochester area.

"The Golisano Foundation and Eastman Dental have formed a task force of community leaders and experts to seek reliable data and engage the community to help. Family members, caregivers, group home staff, medical and dental providers are encouraged to visit www.urmc.rochester.edu/dentistry/developmental-disabilities/ to provide input, and join the discussion about how to improve oral health care for people with developmental disabilities."
