Educational Advocacy Series for Parents to be offered in Geneva and Bath



Lay Advocacy, an eight part educational advocacy workshop series, will be offered on Tuesdays in Geneva, NY beginning on September 11 and on Thursdays in Bath, NY beginning on September 27.  The series, for parents of children with developmental disabilities, helps participants to develop skills to better advocate for their own children and prepares them to provide advocacy to other families on a volunteer basis.  Participants are selected through an application process.  For more information about the series in Geneva, contact Kathy Kerr at 585-546-1700 ext. 229.  For more information about the series in Bath, contact Jean Tydings at ext. 264.
