The Advocacy Center kicked off its annual appeal with receptions on December 1, 2011, in Rochester and Big Flats. Funds raised this year will go directly to supporting the Advocacy and Public Education programs affected by cuts from New York State. For a copy of the annual appeal letter, click here. The Advocacy Center is a New York State Parent Training and Information Center (PTIC), serving all of New York except the 5 boroughs of New York City. The PTIC is funded through a grant from the Office of Special Education Programs, U.S. Department of Education.
