Colleen Brown and Jackie Yingling co-author an article in Exceptional Parent Magazine



Colleen Brown, Public Education Coordinator, and Jackie Yingling, Editor of The Bridge at The Advocacy Center, along with three professors from St. John Fisher College, co-authored an article that appears in the March, 2008 issue of Exceptional Parent magazine. Entitled Planting the Seeds of Partnership: Parents as Instructors in Teacher Education, the article describes a unique partnership between The Advocacy Center and St. John Fisher College that prepares undergraduate teacher candidates to build successful relationships with families of students with disabilities.
